Celebrate The Fish

By Volcano Staff on November 23, 2006

Art is important in Lakewood — and we’re not just talking about murals painted on bikini barista stands. No, Lakewood takes its culture seriously, which is why the Friends Gallery at the Lakewood Library exists. Today, the first day of December, the “Celebrate the Fish” exhibit will kick off, featuring lots of fish paintings by Roxanne Burns.

Prediction: Celebrate the Fish at the Lakewood Friends Gallery will go so well that similar events will be scheduled in the future. Look for Celebrate the Salamander, Celebrate Algae, and the avant-garde Celebrate Pencil Erasers to hit Lakewood soon. — Matt Driscoll
